Smartphone – Oppo Find X10 Series May Introduce Magnetic Charging Support
Smartphone – Oppo is reportedly preparing to introduce a new design feature in its upcoming flagship smartphone lineup, months before its expected debut in China. According to recent leaks, the next-generation Oppo Find X10 series could arrive with built-in magnets designed to support magnetic wireless charging accessories and stands.

The development follows the global rollout of the Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, which were introduced in China last year before expanding to India and other international markets. With that launch cycle completed, attention has now shifted to their anticipated successors.
Leak Suggests Built-In Magnetic System
Details about the Oppo Find X10 lineup surfaced through a post on Weibo by well-known tipster Smart Pikachu. The post claims that Oppo plans to integrate internal magnets into the new devices. These magnets are expected to allow the phones to attach securely to compatible wireless chargers and mounting accessories without additional attachments.
While Oppo has not officially confirmed the feature, the report suggests the company may be working to enhance convenience in wireless charging and accessory compatibility. If accurate, this would mark a notable design shift in Oppo’s flagship series.
Industry Trend Toward Magnetic Charging
The inclusion of built-in magnets in smartphones has gradually gained traction among major manufacturers. Apple first introduced MagSafe technology with the iPhone 12 series in 2020, enabling magnetic alignment for chargers and accessories. More recently, Google incorporated a similar feature called Pixelsnap in its Pixel 10 lineup.
Samsung had also been linked to plans for integrating Qi2 magnetic support in its upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra. However, later reports indicated that the company might instead offer magnetic functionality through specially designed cases rather than embedding magnets directly into the handset.
If Oppo moves forward with built-in magnets in the Find X10 series, it would position the brand alongside competitors adopting integrated magnetic ecosystems.
Expected Models in the Lineup
The rumoured Oppo Find X10 series is likely to include three variants: the standard Find X10, the Find X10 Pro, and a higher-end Find X10 Pro Max. This would expand the lineup beyond last year’s two-model approach.
According to early reports, the Find X10 Pro and Find X10 Pro Max may be powered by MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9600 processors. The chips are said to be built using a 2nm manufacturing process, which could deliver improvements in performance efficiency and thermal management.
Meanwhile, the standard Find X10 model is expected to feature the Dimensity 9500+ chipset, reportedly built on a 3nm process. This would represent an advancement over the Find X9 series, which launched with the 3nm Dimensity 9500 processor.
Camera Upgrades Could Lead Premium Models
Beyond charging and processing upgrades, camera enhancements are also expected to be a major highlight. Reports indicate that the Find X10 Pro could feature dual 200-megapixel rear cameras. The setup is said to include a 200-megapixel primary sensor measuring 1/1.3 inches, along with a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera using a similarly large sensor size.
Such hardware would place the device among the most camera-focused flagship smartphones in its category, although final specifications remain unconfirmed.
Official Confirmation Awaited
As with most early leaks, these details should be viewed cautiously until Oppo provides formal confirmation. The company has not announced a launch date for the Find X10 series, but additional information is expected to emerge in the coming months as the reported China release approaches.
For now, the possibility of built-in magnets, upgraded MediaTek processors, and high-resolution camera sensors suggests that Oppo may be preparing a significant update to its flagship smartphone portfolio.
