Realme – Two New 5G Smartphones Likely to Launch Soon in India
Realme – Realme is reportedly preparing to expand its smartphone portfolio in India with the introduction of two new 5G models. According to information shared by a well-known technology tipster, the company may soon unveil the Realme 16T 5G and the Realme P4R 5G in the Indian market. Although the company has not yet officially announced the launch date, industry leaks suggest that the devices could arrive in the country in the near future.
Leak Suggests Two New Realme Devices in Development
Technology tipster Abhishek Yadav shared details on the social media platform X, indicating that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is working on two new devices for India. The upcoming phones are expected to be introduced as the Realme 16T 5G and Realme P4R 5G.
According to the information revealed in the leak, the two models have reportedly been spotted with internal model numbers RMX5268 and RMX5266. While the specifications of the devices have not yet been confirmed, the appearance of these model numbers suggests that the company could be preparing for an official announcement soon.
At present, Realme has not provided any official confirmation regarding the launch timeline or features of these upcoming smartphones.
Expected Storage Variants and Colour Options
The leaked information also provides insight into the possible storage configurations and colour variants for both devices. The Realme 16T 5G is expected to be offered in three RAM and storage combinations. These include 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, and a higher configuration with 8GB RAM paired with 256GB storage.
In terms of design choices, the Realme 16T 5G could be introduced in three colour options, reportedly named Aurora Green, Starlight Black, and Starlight Red.
Meanwhile, the Realme P4R 5G is said to target a slightly different segment with its own range of configurations. The device could be available in 4GB RAM with 128GB storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 6GB RAM with 256GB storage. The smartphone may arrive in colour variants described as Lavender Glare, Silver Glare, and Titanium Glare.
Realme 16 Series Continues to Expand in India
If the leaked information turns out to be accurate, the Realme 16T 5G would become the third model in the Realme 16 series currently available in India. Earlier this year, the company launched the Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 Pro+ 5G in the country.
The two devices were officially introduced on January 6. The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G debuted with a starting price of Rs. 39,999, while the Realme 16 Pro 5G was launched at Rs. 31,999 for the base variant that includes 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Both smartphones were released with several colour options. The Pro+ variant came in Master Gold, Master Grey, and an India-exclusive Camellia Pink finish. Meanwhile, the Realme 16 Pro 5G was offered in Master Gold, Pebble Grey, and Orchid Purple, which was also introduced as an India-specific colour variant.
Realme P Series Also Seeing New Additions
Alongside the Realme 16 series, the company has also been strengthening its P series lineup in India. The most recent device in this segment is the Realme P4 Lite, which was launched in the country on February 20.
The smartphone entered the market with a starting price of Rs. 9,999 for the base version that includes 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The model targets budget-conscious buyers looking for an affordable smartphone option.
Reports suggest that the Realme P4 lineup may soon expand further with the arrival of the Realme P4 Lite 5G as well. If the leaked information regarding the Realme P4R 5G is accurate, it could become another addition to the growing P series portfolio.
For now, official specifications and launch details remain undisclosed, but the leaks indicate that Realme may soon introduce multiple new smartphones to strengthen its presence in different price segments in the Indian market.
