Redmi Note 15 Pro : Series 5G has officially entered the Indian smartphone market, expanding Xiaomi’s mid-premium lineup with two new models. Announced on Thursday, the series includes the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G, both positioned above the standard Redmi Note 15. The new devices focus on high-resolution photography, large AMOLED displays, and fast-charging batteries, aiming to appeal to users seeking flagship-style features at more accessible price points.

Pricing and colour options in India
Xiaomi has priced the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G starting at Rs. 37,999 for the base variant featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Buyers can choose from Coffee Mocha, Mirage Blue, and Carbon Black finishes. The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, positioned as the more affordable option, starts at Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration and is available in Silver Ash, Mirage Blue, and Carbon Black colour options.
Bank offers and effective launch prices
At launch, customers can benefit from bank-related promotional offers. Discounts of up to Rs. 3,000 are available on transactions made using HDFC Bank, SBI, and ICICI credit cards. With these offers applied, the effective starting prices drop to Rs. 26,999 for the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and Rs. 34,999 for the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G, making the devices more competitive in their respective segments.

Both smartphones in the Redmi Note 15 Pro Series 5G run on Android 15-based HyperOS 2, offering Xiaomi’s latest software features and interface refinements. Each handset is equipped with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display delivering a 1.5K resolution of 1,280 x 2,772 pixels. The screens support a 120Hz refresh rate and reach up to 3,200 nits of peak brightness, designed for improved visibility in outdoor conditions. For durability, the displays are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

The two models differ primarily in their processing hardware. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and can be configured with up to 12GB of RAM and as much as 512GB of internal storage. In comparison, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and offering storage options of up to 256GB. Both configurations are aimed at delivering smooth everyday performance and reliable multitasking.

Photography is a key highlight across the Redmi Note 15 Pro Series 5G. The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G comes with a slightly larger 6,580mAh battery, offering 45W fast charging and the same 22.5W reverse charging capability.
