Exterior Receives Subtle Styling Enhancements

The refreshed Innova Crysta gets a redesigned front grille that gives the vehicle a more refined and commanding appearance. Toyota has also revised the decorative elements on both the front and rear bumpers, helping the MPV project a stronger road presence.

Although the overall shape and dimensions remain unchanged, these updates contribute to a more contemporary look. The company has focused on enhancing visual appeal without compromising the practicality and familiarity that have made the Innova Crysta a popular choice among Indian buyers for many years.

Interior Upgrades Focus on Comfort and Convenience

Inside the cabin, Toyota has introduced several changes designed to elevate the overall passenger experience. The MPV now comes equipped with dual-tone leather upholstery, complemented by fresh Grace Copper accents and wood-finish inserts across the dashboard and door trims.

To improve convenience, selected variants now feature a wireless smartphone charging pad and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Toyota has also updated certain switchgear elements and air-conditioning controls, adding a more premium touch to the interior layout.

The feature list continues to include a touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, steering-mounted audio and phone controls, and a range of safety technologies. Occupant protection is supported by seven airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), brake assist, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), and Hill Start Assist Control.

Proven Diesel Powertrain Remains Unchanged

Under the hood, the updated Innova Crysta continues with Toyota’s familiar 2.4-litre diesel engine. The motor is paired with a five-speed manual transmission and delivers 148 bhp along with 343 Nm of peak torque.

The diesel engine has built a strong reputation for reliability, smooth performance, and strong low-speed pulling power. These characteristics make the vehicle suitable for both long-distance travel and everyday usage. Toyota states that the MPV can deliver fuel efficiency of up to 15 kmpl under standard testing conditions.

Pricing and Variant Details

The updated Innova Crysta is available in multiple trims, offering both seven-seat and eight-seat configurations. The GX and GX Fleet variants are priced at Rs 19.72 lakh and Rs 19.77 lakh respectively. The GX+ variant starts at Rs 21.15 lakh for the seven-seat model and Rs 21.20 lakh for the eight-seat version.

Higher in the range, the VX trim is available at Rs 24.93 lakh for the seven-seat option and Rs 24.98 lakh for the eight-seat configuration. The top-spec ZX variant is offered exclusively in a seven-seat layout and is priced at Rs 26.63 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).

Toyota Continues to Strengthen Its MPV Portfolio

With this latest update, Toyota has focused on refining the Innova Crysta rather than making major mechanical changes. The additions are intended to improve comfort, convenience, and visual appeal while retaining the qualities that have contributed to the model’s strong position in India’s MPV segment. The continued use of the trusted diesel powertrain is expected to remain a key attraction for customers looking for durability and long-distance usability.
